J. Stone - “The Definition of Sacrifice”
Tracks Produced by Monster A&R Alumni, Stevie Cali
“Buss It Baby’
“3AM” featuring K. Camp
Stevie joined Monster A&R and attended the Elite Producer Camp to improve his mixes, drum dynamics, and to increase his chances of attracting music artists to his music submissions.
One of the guests speakers for the camp was Nipsey Hussle’s A&R, DJ Prosper, who has been with Nipsey Hussle since the early stages of his career, up until his passing, as well as a good friend to Monster Sessions Founder, Dame Taylor.
Dame introduced Prosper to Stevie and even played some his music during the class. Prosper gave the camp attendees detailed information about they type of music Nipsey liked, what and what not to send, and also provided his phone number to Stevie because he liked some of his music. He actually selected 3 of his beats to personally play for Nipsey Hussle at a later time.
Fast forward to today, All Money In artist, J. Stone just the release of his latest album, “The Definition of Sacrifice”, and Stevie has 2 placements on the project (“Buss It Baby” & “3AM”, Featuring K. Camp).
We are extremely proud of Stevie for staying persistent and properly nurturing an industry connection which resulted in him being an official member of the All Money In team!
Congrats, Stevie!
